ABOUT IMC
The sun sets over the Lagos lagoon, casting a golden glow on the city’s skyline. But for the Muslim community on the Island, a shadow of unmet needs lingers. The absence of vital social amenities and infrastructure tailored to our faith and cultural practices – most poignantly, the lack of a dedicated Muslim cemetery, a place of final rest, a sanctuary reflecting our faith highlighted a critical gap in the fabric of community life.  Every morning, we wake up to the rhythmic call of adhan, on this island, where the sun dips into a fiery ocean each evening, a new dawn is breaking for the Muslim community. For too long, the vibrant tapestry of faith, culture, and community life has existed in fragmented threads, separate strands of a rich and powerful whole.
